TLT acts on Novoferm expansion in the UK

Novoferm Europe is the European subsidiary of the Tokyo-listed Sanwa Shutter Corporation and one of Europe's largest suppliers of entrance solutions. Novoferm's goal was to expand their large European operation into the UK by acquiring one of the UK's leading providers of door and shutter maintenance and repair. This enabled Novoferm to get a leading position quickly within the UK market to compliment the rest of its European business. We engaged with Novoferm by working alongside its German advisers on the acquisition. Alice Gardner led TLT's multi-disciplinary team of technology, tax, corporate and real estate. We advised the client on all aspects of the transaction by firstly carrying-out legal due diligence on the target company and then advising on the transaction documents required to effect the transaction. Our advice was delivered through email, telephone, and face to face meetings client by using key issues lists to summarise the key points for the client to consider.
