Over the last decade the Creative Industries sector has increased its output more than 1.5 times the rate of the rest of the UK economy.
Government commitment
This includes £150 million new funding for six priority regions, £100 million for R&D clusters, £25 million for a Creative Futures Programme, £75 million for screen, £30 million on video games, and up to £30 million on music over three years.
The UK is second only to the USA for the location and generation of foreign direct investment (FDI) creative projects globally
The UK is a large film and high-end TV production location, attracting £4.8 billion of film and TV inward investment in 2024
£32 billion in internet advertising in 2024, making the UK the most digitally mature advertising market in Western Europe
