Build a product compliance file before you're asked for it. Learn how to organise essential documentation, identify gaps and create a practical process that helps you respond confidently to marketplace and regulatory requests.
What you’ll learn
- Identify the key documents, records and supporting evidence that should be included in a structured product compliance file
- Develop a practical process for gathering, organising and maintaining compliance documentation from suppliers and internal sources
- Apply best practices for document control, evidence management and record maintenance to respond confidently to requests from marketplaces, regulators and business partners
Description
Most online sellers only discover gaps in their product documentation when a marketplace requests evidence, a listing is suspended or an authority carries out a check. By then, the information needs to be complete, accurate and readily accessible.
This practical session explains how to create and maintain a structured product compliance file. It will cover how to bring together technical documentation, test reports, supplier information, declarations, product labels, traceability records and supporting evidence in one manageable system.
Rather than examining individual regulations or market-specific product safety obligations, the webinar will focus on documentation processes that can support sales across different channels and destinations. Attendees will learn how to identify missing evidence, request the right information from suppliers, apply version control and keep records up to date as products or requirements change.
Designed for ecommerce and retail businesses, this session will help attendees build a repeatable documentation process and respond more confidently when marketplaces, regulators or business partners request evidence.
