CAF, the Development Bank of Latin America (SWAPS, Lima)

THE PROJECT
The project involved Storm-7 Consulting liaising with senior officials at CAF offices located in Lima, Peru, in order to create a brand new in-house training course for the development bank. Storm-7 actively worked with CAF to develop a highly comprehensive training course covering the negotiation and documentation of swaps and over-the-counter derivatives. This highly complex area covers a mix of banking, finance, legal, and documentation issues and so the course was developed to comprehensively cover all of these areas in order to train CAF employees.

ABOUT CAF
CAF is a development bank created in 1970, owned by 19 countries - 17 of Latin America and the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal- as well as 13 private banks in the region. It promotes a sustainable development model through credit operations, non-reimbursable resources, and support in the technical and financial structuring of projects in the public and private sectors of Latin America.
