The team, including a UK qualified, bilingual Chinese lawyer, worked with the company establishing its UK operations. Within 18 months, the client had established operations across England.
Our lawyers established a UK branch, addressing concerns about data protection, registered trademark applications and negotiated commercial contracts and IT agreements. We have also provided legal support in relation to the areas of property, employment and immigration.
We addressed initial concerns about UK regulations by introducing the client to the DIT, who put them in touch with local authorities at the right level, which was pivotal to their success.
