Danish helicopter company setting up in the UK market
The reason for investing in the UK was to provide engineer transport services to and from Siemens offshore wind farms based in the North Sea. There was a need to establish a base close enough to the wind farms to make the contract economic and to provide a support and maintenance location for the helicopters.
EBS formed the UK wholly owned subsidiary of Danish parent, registered it for VAT and PAYE, set up the pension scheme and helped to open a UK bank account.
Later on, the UK company started to hire UK based employees, and today has six highly skilled British engineers, who service the helicopters on the ground.
EBS has been assisting the UK company with their legal compliance, day-to-day administration services, payroll and successfully fulfilling the company’s business requirements within the UK.
