Trade agreements are made between two or more countries and set out the preferential rules for buying or selling goods or services between them.

UK-US Technology Safeguards and other international agreements
The UK-US Technology Safeguards Agreement allows US companies to operate from UK spaceports and export space launch technology. This lets the UK access new revenues and customers, while abiding by both countries’ commitments to non-proliferation.
The UK has also secured agreements with Ireland, Iceland, Portugal, the Faroe Islands and Norway to enable UK launch activities.
