Description

India’s rapidly growing electricity demand and transition to renewable energy are driving the need for large-scale energy storage to ensure grid reliability and flexibility. India is projected to require approximately 74 GW/411 GWh of energy storage capacity by 2032, creating significant opportunities across the sector.

With strong expertise in energy storage technologies, project development, financing, and grid integration, the UK is well placed to support India’s energy transition and growing market demand.

The webinar will provide insights into market trends, policy developments, priority technologies, and future demand, while highlighting opportunities for UK-India collaboration in technology, financing, manufacturing, and supply chains. UK companies will also learn about the support offered by the BIST Energy Team in India to help UK businesses enter, grow, and succeed in the Indian market.

Net-Zero Energy Transition Association (NETRA), a leading Indian industry body specialising in the energy storage sector, will be joining as the knowledge partner.
