Jasdeep Jassal leads the Food & Drink sector and the Export Support Service (ESS) for the Department for Business and Trade at the British High Commission in India. His role focuses on helping UK companies translate Indian market potential into commercial outcomes.

Through the Export Support Service, Jasdeep provides UK exporters with hands on, commercially grounded support across the full export lifecycle. This includes market entry strategy, regulatory and labelling compliance, pricing and route to market planning, importer and distributor identification, buyer engagement, and risk navigation. The service is designed to reduce time to market, lower entry barriers, and help companies make informed, commercially viable decisions when trading with India.
