Description
Don't miss this webinar on registering for the UK-India FTA HMRC portal.
The UK-India Free Trade Agreement entered into force on 15 July 2026 and introduced a new process for claiming preferential tariffs on qualifying UK exports to India. To access these tariff reductions, UK exporters making origin declarations must first register through the UK-India FTA HMRC portal.
If the exporter issuing the origin declaration is not registered, the Indian importer will be unable to claim the reduced tariff rates available under the FTA, even where the goods meet the rules of origin requirements.
By the end of the webinar, you'll understand the registration process and have the knowledge needed to export qualifying goods to India under the new FTA.
For more information, see the rules of origin guide here and sign up for the HMRC portal here.
