Emmanuel Gianquitto
Head of Customs Consultancy and Training, Chamber Customs
Emmanuel has over 20 years’ experience working internationally across consultancy, training, auditing and the implementation of best practice in project, quality and international trade management.
Since the beginning of the EU-Exit process, he has focused on the evolving requirements of international trade, with particular expertise in customs compliance, customs declarations, special procedures, classification, valuation, origin, transit and the practical implementation of UK border processes.
He has played a key role in the creation and development of the ChamberCustoms service, supporting the design and implementation of its operational systems, quality framework and compliance controls.
He has also led work on CHIEF and CDS readiness, testing and implementation, and has trained customs agents and businesses on customs processes, declaration requirements and wider compliance obligations.
Emmanuel now leads consultancy and training activity across a broad portfolio of customs, trade and border compliance projects, advising businesses on practical, commercially focused solutions to complex regulatory challenges.
Emmanuel speaks English, Italian, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
