Description

As part of International Trade Week, this session provides an accessible overview of the UK‑India FTA for goods exporters. We’ll set out how businesses can use the agreement to be more competitive, walk through the core rules‑of‑origin concepts and highlight improvements on technical barriers to trade and customs that can smooth trade in practice.

The session opens with a scene‑setter from Chief Negotiator for UK-India FTA Kate Thornley and concludes with guidance from DBT’s Export Support Service colleagues in India on where to go next for practical, on‑the‑ground support.
