ONYX Insight is a specialist engineering consultancy established in 2008. It specialises in providing software, monitoring and engineering solutions to enable predictive maintenance for offshore wind turbines.

ONYX Insight’s product range includes:

• Case Management, which is a one platform solution for fleet management
• ecoCMS, which is a condition monitoring system for vibration, temperature, and lubrication data
• ecoPITCH, which is a pitch bearing monitoring system
• fleetMONITOR, which is a condition monitoring vibration software
• fieldPRO, which is a mobile and web-based inspection application to inform operation and maintenance decisions

The company’s solutions are hardware-agnostic and flexible, with clients able to request one-off solutions or fully integrated service packages. ONYX Insight also provides engineering and consultancy services relating to blade and drivetrain operation and maintenance, in addition to tower and foundations monitoring. These services include bespoke instrumentation services, repair assessments, root cause failure analysis, and quality assurance and control inspections.

ONYX Insight has monitored over 20,000 wind turbines in 30 different countries and has provided technical due diligence and engineering services on over 100 gigawatts (GW) of wind assets worldwide.
