Offshore Solutions Group (OSG) develops critical infrastructure to support the industrial development and delivery of floating wind projects. Founded in 2020, the experienced team of technical and project delivery specialists undertake the origination and early-stage development of critical infrastructure to meet the specific technical and operational requirements of large-scale floating wind projects.

OSG is one of the world’s leading specialists in the provision of floating wind Safe Anchorage solutions. Safe Anchorage, also known as wet storage or offshore parking, is the temporary storage of floating units in a near-shore environment to enable efficient port and vessel logistics.

OSG is the technical and delivery lead for an industrial consortium working to deliver the UK’s largest floating wind steel foundation modular fabrication facility. It is also the technical and delivery partner of the Plymouth and South Devon Freeport in the development of England’s largest Floating Offshore Wind Support Base to support the floating offshore wind Celtic Sea Round 5 projects.

Industry track record

OSG has worked closely with assembly ports and developers of floating offshore wind projects globally. It has provided mooring and anchoring support, installation evaluation, and risk assessment to over 15 major floating wind developers, including:

• 32 projects in the UK
• 4 projects in the rest of Europe
• 2 projects in the US, and
• 1 project in South Korea.
