Seaway7, part of the Subsea7 Group, supports developers to bring sustainable, renewable energy to the world through the construction of offshore wind farms.

Seaway7 offers specialist foundation, offshore substation, submarine cable and wind turbine installation services, as well as heavy transportation services, for the offshore wind sector.

With capabilities and extensive experience in project management, engineering, procurement, and fabrication, Seaway7 delivers its services in a comprehensive array of contractual structures including EPCI, transportation, installation, and balance of plant. Its services are supported by a dedicated fleet, allowing efficient and flexible worldwide operations.

Seaway7 employs around 770 people onshore around the world and has an offshore workforce of around 400.

Industry track record

Seaway7 has been active in the offshore renewable energy industry since 2009. It has completed 79 offshore wind contracts across 52 projects, including:

  • 18 projects in the UK
  • 30 projects in the rest of Europe
  • 1 project in the US, and
  • 3 projects in Taiwan, including Formosa 1, Formosa 2 and Yunlin.

The company is currently involved in several ongoing offshore wind projects in Taiwan, including the Changfang and Xidao, Zhong Neng, and Hai Long projects.
