International Trade Week is back to help UK businesses seize global opportunities
International Trade Week (ITW) 2026 will return from 9 to 13 November, bringing together businesses from across the UK for a week of expert advice, networking, market insights, and practical support to help companies scale and succeed internationally.
Led by the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (BIST) and sponsored by Santander UK, ITW 2026 will connect businesses of all sizes and sectors with the people, knowledge, and opportunities they need to unlock growth through international trade.
From exporters taking their first step into overseas markets to established businesses looking to expand their global footprint, ITW 2026 will provide access to industry leaders, export specialists, investors and international buyers through a diverse programme of online and in-person events.
A Week Packed with Opportunities
Businesses participating in ITW 2026 will be able to choose from a wide range of topics tailored to different stages of the export journey and their own international growth ambitions.
We’ll be kicking off the week with the flagship opening event in Manchester on Monday 9 November, bringing together successful exporters, investors, trade experts and business leaders to share insight on high-growth markets and the opportunities available to ambitious UK businesses.
One of the standout moments of the week will be the Great British Pitch Europe on Wednesday 11 November in central London. Delivered in partnership with Small Business Britain, the event will give businesses the chance to pitch directly to international buyers, forge valuable commercial connections, and explore new routes to market.
Throughout the week, the Export Support Hub will offer one-to-one meetings with experts from organisations including Accredited Chambers, British and International Chambers of Commerce, the Diplomatic Advisory Hub, Business Growth Advisers, International Market Hubs, Santander and UK Export Finance (UKEF).
Other key events include the Scotland Business Forum in Edinburgh, hosted by UKEF, and an interactive Export Action Planning Workshop, helping businesses assess their export readiness and build tailored strategies for international growth.
In addition, businesses can access around 50 online sessions through the Business Academy, covering topics such as market entry, finance, growth and international expansion. Gain practical insights into emerging market trends, identify high-potential export opportunities, and hear directly from experts to help you grow with confidence in global markets.
International Trade Week 2026 is about one thing: turning UK ambition into UK growth, in every postcode. Whether you're exporting for the first time or breaking into new markets, this week gives you the connections, support and confidence to succeed on the global stage.
Businesses can now explore the programme, sign up for updates and register for events as they are announced.
