New employers eligible for Global Talent visa
UK Research and Innovation (UKRI)opens www.ukri.org in a new tab has worked with the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (BIST)opens www.gov.uk in a new tab and the Home Officeopens www.gov.uk in a new tab to add over 100 new businesses to the list of eligible employers for the Global Talent visaopens www.gov.uk in a new tab. This means that these businesses can now routinely use the Global Talent visa to recruit talent into their organisations.
The Global Talent visa is the UK’s primary, most flexible visa for research talent to come to the UK. Businesses on the list are in at least one of the Industrial Strategy 8 (IS-8)opens www.gov.uk in a new tab sectors, contributing to research taking place in 8 high-growth sectors with the greatest potential for economic expansion and national resilience.
