Derby City – Industrial Revolution 4.0

As a city which played a big role in the Industrial Revolution, it was time for a digital revolution.

The council can now execute business analytics using data collected by MiPermit to streamline its services and make strategic use of its resources. Automation is the future. Enlisting the help of Chipside to move Derby City into the digital space has allowed us to streamline our parking management, make the best use of resources. The future of our city is exciting”

Derby recently worked closely with Chipside under emergency powers during the Covid19 emergency. The platform is now used for citizens to manage their need to visit Council refuse trips and for the Council to balance supply and demand. This is a first for the UK.
