Development of Introductory Healthcare Programme

AlphaPlus partnered with City & Guilds to develop a flagship programme for young people to access employment in healthcare settings in Saudi Arabia.

We worked with Colleges of Excellence to specify & develop a high-quality programme of learning covering:
• Medical Terminology
• Ethics & Customer Services for Healthcare Providers
• Quality and Patient Safety
• Employability Skills for the Healthcare Sector

Our work involved developing:
• Qualification & Curriculum Specifications
• Learning Outcomes
• Scheme of Work
• Lesson Plans for teachers
• Media rich slide packs to use in lessons
• Workbook & worksheets for students
• Multiple Choice knowledge tests
• Practical skills tests

We based this programme on international good practice but tailored the content to be compatible with working practices in Saudi Arabia’s healthcare systems.

We delivered the whole programme in under 3 months, and the learning programme is now in use successfully in Saudi Arabia.
