1.Conception, design and content design of the websiteThe conception and design of the website should be based on the following basic standards:- Contemporary, appealing design- Usability - intuitive usability through clear navigation structures- Flexible page design- Easy integration of photos and videos- Cross-device usability- Accessibility- Modular structure for expandable functionality- SEO optimization- DSGVO-compliant implementation- SSL hostingIn the implementation concept, a proposal for a suitable content management system (currently using TYP03 version 7.6 eLTS).The partial service to be awarded includes above all the structure, usability and visual design of the website.Furthermore, the following services are also included:- Alumni questionnaireJugend forscht would like to stay in contact with former participants and keep them informed about their professional situation - among other things, in order to be able to offer suitable alumni events. On the website, there should be a possibility for alumni to submit their personal data, data on competition participation and career steps to Jugend forscht. Currently this is done by a form including double opt-in, the data is automatically exported and sent as an e-mail to the deposited Jugend forscht address. A comparable, possibly more appropriate alternative implementation is desired.- Analytics toolSelection and integration of a privacy-compliant analytics tool- Image galleries incl. ZIP downloadEach Jugend forscht competition round has its own motto incl. graphic implementation. These posters are to be displayed attractively on the website and made available as a ZIP download. In addition, selected historical photos from almost six decades of the Jugend forscht competition are to be shown in thematic picture galleries (without download).- Integration of YouTube videos incl. YouTube contentThe embedding of YouTube videos in the website in compliance with data protection regulations is to be programmed.- Ordering materials (https://www.jugend-forscht.de/service/infomaterial-bestellung.html)Website users are to have the option of ordering print products and having them sent to them. The order data should be processed in accordance with data protection regulations, automatically exported as a CSV and sent as an e-mail to a stored Jugend forscht address on selected days. This ordering option should also be available with a more extensive selection of materials in the password-protected "Internal" area (see below).- Media libraryThe service to be awarded includes the development of a modern and attractive media library.- Annual report as one-pagerThe previous annual report (https://www.jugend-forscht.de/stiftung-jugend-forscht-e-v/jahresbericht.html), printed in A4 format and sent by mail, is to be digitally prepared in a more attractive way as a one-pager. The model is the annual report of the "Stiftung Kinder forschen": https://jahresbericht2022.stiftung-kinder-forschen.de. Ideally, the one-pager should be programmed once and then filled again and again in subsequent years. In addition to texts, quotes with photos, figures, selected diagrams and tables should be shown. As in the example, there should be further links to subpages.- Password-protected alumni forumAll former participants have the opportunity to register for the alumni forum on the website. Exclusive job offers and event information will be made available in the forum. The user can subscribe to a notification service so that he or she is informed once a week by e-mail about all news in the forum. Registration takes place on the website including double opt-in; before activation, a manual check must be carried out by Jugend forscht to ensure that the person requesting access is actually authorized to use the forum.- Password-protected area "Internal "Competition managers and representatives of the sponsor companies are given access to the "Internal" area. Access is granted manually via the CMS. In the "Internal" area, extensive materials are offered for download, and there is also the possibility of ordering materials.- Calendar of eventsThe contractor programs a calendar module in which dates can be issued for different target groups. With the dates one or more files can be offered for download. Once a year, about 120 competition dates are imported, the remaining dates are created manually.2.Blog "Jugend forscht unterwegs "In the blog (https://blog.jugend-forscht.de), young researchers report on their participation in international competitions, study trips and research stays. The blog is to be adapted to the new design of the website, developed further, kept technically up to date and integrated into the website.3. newsletter "Jugend forscht Alumni News "The newsletter is sent out quarterly, using the Brevo tool.
