Description

The contracting authority for this procurement is the Hias IKS.Hias IKS is an inter-municipal company that owns facilities and provides water and sewage services for the owner municipalities of Hamar, Løten, Ringsaker and Stange. Further information on the entity is available at www.hias.no.Current agreements on chemicals expire in November/December 2023. Hias IKS will select new suppliers of chemicals for use in the processes at the sewage treatment plant and water treatment plants owned by Hias IKS.A framework agreement will be signed with one tenderer for each chemical type.Click https://permalink.mercell.com/211860001.aspx
Hias' sewage treatment plant is located in Ottestad in Stange municipality and treats approx. 8 million m3 of wastewater from approx. 130,000 person equivalents. Hias owns and operates two water treatment plants, Hias VBA Sandvika and Hias VBA Vestbygda.Hias VBA Sandvika is dimensioned for a capacity of 400 litres/second. The process is precipitation in 3 media filters with marble at the bottom for alkalisation, as well as chlorine and UV as the last two hygienic barriers. Annual production is approximately 3.5 million m3 of drinking water for approx. 30,000 people in Hamar and parts of Ringsaker, Stange and Løten municipalities. Stange water treatment plant is located in Stange municipality and produces approx. 2.5 million m3 of drinking water annually for approx. 19,000 persons mainly in Stange and Løten municipalities. The water treatment consists of filtration, adding chlorine and alkali silicate, and UV treatment.
