Description

Devices capable of providing data to capture train composition without manual input. We are looking for devices that can read tags in close proximity, receive position data and communicate with a central server.Not in scope: computer software to calculate train composition, communication and external back-end.
Active devices that read the tags and communicate with the ground; passive tags that are read by the active devices. Active devices and tags must be installed on the rolling stock (installation by SNCB, out of scope of the market). Devices capable of providing data to enter the train composition without manual input. We are looking for devices capable of reading the tags at close range, receiving position data and communicating with a central server.Not in scope: computer software to calculate train composition, communication and external back end.The objective of these devices is to provide the necessary data to be able to record train compositions in the TRACO project, without manual input. The devices serve to supplement the data currently available until the entire fleet is covered. The devices scan the tags on the other vehicles.
