In 2021, the client will rehabilitate the northern runway RWY-08L/26R and the associated connecting taxiways TWY-A1 to A9 in an area up to 210 m from the runway axis.the subject of the present award procedure is the construction of the site equipment area required for the construction work.
The object of the tendering procedure is in particular the following services:- Construction of an advanced construction site equipment area in the northern area of Leipzig/Halle Airport;- The BE area is used for the storage of aggregates, storage of the removed milled material and necessary equipment and materials of the executing companies such as concrete mixing plants, containers, parking areas, storage areas, etc.;- The area for the construction of the BE extends north of Towerstraße, is fenced and covers a total area of approx. 15 ha, of which approx. Partial areas of access roads to this BE area will be asphalted;- In the area of the planned area extension, existing signs, delineators, boundary posts or similar are to be dismantled and temporarily stored;- The topsoil is to be removed by 10 cm and stored within the construction site;- producing an earth formation, installing a geotextile and laying the ballast base layer;- producing asphalt surfaces;- producing additional crossings;- producing office and gatehouse containers in the area of the entrance and exit;- supplying and installing blast protection fencing;- coordination and cooperation with other company details are to be taken from the contract documents.The services will be called up by the client in a period from 30.9.2020 to 30.11.2020 and are to be commenced in accordance with § 5 Para. 2 VOB/B (German Construction Contract Procedures). They must be completed by 15.02.2021 at the latest.
