United States - USA – P3 Large scale solar opportunity RFI

Description

Multi-year private public partnership (“P3”) agreement with a state transportation department to plan, design, finance, and supply all labour and materials to implement, operate and maintain a system that, at a minimum, would include:

1. Furnishing solar photovoltaic (PV) generated energy from Developer installed solar panels located:
a. On the rooftops of existing buildings and on new Developer constructed covered parking structures to power buildings.
b. On surplus rights‐of‐way (ROW) that are near existing power lines with the intent of selling the power to utilities.

2. Operate and maintain the facilities for a period of 30 years.

3. All environmental attributes derived from the production of renewable energy from the facilities including, but not limited to renewable energy certificates and credits, green tags, emission credits, carbon offsets and any other environmental attribute currently available or available at any time in the future shall belong to and inure to the benefit of RFP issuer.

4. Decommissioning the PV locations at the end of their service life.
