Mauritius - University partnership opportunity in higher education

A private higher education provider is currently seeking a franchise arrangement with a UK university partner.

The company is currently looking to deliver undergraduate programmes on the following subjects, with the aim to later expand their offering on these subjects to include postgraduate programmes:

- business management
- marketing
- accounting and finance
- LLB
- artificial Intelligence in digital marketing

Support required from the university partner will include:
- academic quality assurance, moderation and support for curriculum delivery
- lecturer training and capacity building for local academic and support staff
- certification and recognition of the final degree under UK university
- flexibility for blended learning delivery and capacity to support up to 300 students locally and internationally per year

The company anticipates a yearly intake of up to 300 students annually for the undergraduate programmes, targeting local students and students from the African region and India.

The company is also seeking to access trainer networks on fintech and marine science for executive-style industry-relevant workshops typically ranging from 1 to 3 days. Target audience for these workshops will be professionals and corporate teams.

The company is a private higher education provider registered in Mauritius and operating since 2025. It is recognised by the Mauritius Qualifications Authority (MQA) and currently offers ABE (UK) programmes for Level 4 and 5 Diploma in Business Management. It is currently moving to larger infrastructure and seeking to expand its offering to include undergraduate degrees.
