Description

SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy.  As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.

UHV Manipulator with Differentially Pumped Rotary Feedthrough = Qty 1

Technical evaluation criteria as follows:

8” (203mm) OD CF base flange, 4.5” (114mm) OD CF traveling flange with rotary platform mounted
±25mm Travel in X and Y, 600mm Travel in Z
Completely decoupled bellows for XY stage and Z stage to improve the motion repeatability and to maintain a full ±25mm XY travel
Fully motorized X/Y/Z with both absolute and incremental encoders, as well as limit switches
Resolution for X/Y/Z better than 0.5 µm; Repeatability for X/Y/Z better than 1.0 µm
Two-stage differentially pumped rotary platform for full 360°continuous rotation with leak Rate <1x10-10 mbar∙l/s
Fully motorized rotary with incremental encoder and a resolution better than 0.05°
A clear bore > 55mm;a support tube with 54mm OD
SimStep stepping motor controller with handheld terminal and computer interface

#2: UHV Wide Bore Manipulator with Differentially Pumped Rotary Platform = Qty 1

Technical evaluation criteria as fgfollows:

8” (203mm) OD CF base flange, 6” (152mm) OD CF traveling flange with rotary platform mounted
±25mm Travel in X and Y, 600mm Travel in Z
Completely decoupled bellows for XY stage and Z stage to improve the motion repeatability and to maintain a full ±25mm XY travel
Fully motorized X/Y/Z with both absolute and incremental encoders, as well as limit switches
Resolution for X/Y/Z better than 0.5 µm; Repeatability for X/Y/Z better than 1.0 µm
