Short description:
In the Schweinitz forest district of the Federal Forestry Operation Northern Saxony-Anhalt, on the Altengrabow military training area, late-flowering weeping cherries are to be removed from a 7.5 ha sub-area.
The cutting of weeping cherries is expressly prohibited; the plants are to be pulled out of the ground manually and \/ or mechanically so that as few of the roots as possible remain in the ground. The remaining stand must be preserved.
The number of late-flowering bird cherry trees per hectare and size vary greatly
Cutting is expressly prohibited.
Only tracked vehicles with a total weight of up to 5.0 tons may be used to clear the area
The material should then be removed from the area and disposed of
