United States - Treasury Cloud Acqusition Roadmap

The Department of Treasury is seeking an efficient and cost saving approach to expand the cloud services. The Treasury OCIO has developed a roadmap for the acquisition of cloud services for the Enterprise with IRS and other procurement office as well as cloud stakeholders across the Department of Treasury. The Acquisition Roadmap is based on the Department's Cloud Strategy effective July 1, 2019. The Acquisition Roadmap is intended to increase efficiencies by maximizing the sharing of resources for Information Technology (IT) planning, acquisition, execution, and operation of the cloud services in a manner comparable to other IT services as TNET and HR-Connect.
Currently, the Treasury Bureaus are individually moving forward with cloud solution and have implemented several cloud solutions to address unique mission priorities requiring agile and elastic approached, often through duplicative contract actions. The scattered approach, while offering varying degrees of agility for individual customers, ignores opportunities for cost reduction through service deduplication and consolidated production actions.
