Germany - Translation services

Description

Translation services in accordance with DIN EN ISO 17100:2016-05 for the official purposes of the BSH in all specialist areas, in particular for documents from the updating processes of the land development plan, the regional development plan, the preliminary investigation and the strategic environmental assessments carried out for this purpose are to be translated into different languages.
Translation services in the sense of DIN EN ISO 17100:2016-05 The aim of the services provided under this framework agreement and the individual contracts to be concluded on the basis thereof is to provide the client with technically and linguistically correct, comprehensible texts in other languages in a uniform style for technical communication with citizens, associations, contractual partners, other states, governmental and intergovernmental organizations and for public relations work. Other services for other BSH units are also possible. The texts come from the various departments of the BSH (cf. https://www.bsh.de/DE/THEMEN/themen_node.html); in terms of subject matter, they come in particular from the following areas: nautics/maritime shipping, oceanography, hydrography, meteorology, geology, surveying and cartography, biology, physics, chemistry, marine biology, environment and environmental forensics, mathematics, mechanics, electrical engineering, civil, state and administrative, environmental data protection and criminal law (including expert opinions, contractual and legal texts).The framework agreement forms the basis of the business relationship and order processing with the contractor.the services are to be based on:- EU Guidelines for translation contractors,- FIG technical dictionary of the Federal Office for Cartography and Geodesy (BKG),- For services for units O1 and O2 the service description,- German law (in particular: Civil Code, Wind Energy at Sea Act, Regional Planning Act, Environmental Impact Assessment Act, Act on the Convention of 25 February 1991 on Environmental Impact Assessment in a Transboundary Context and on the Amendment to the Convention adopted at the Second Conference of the Parties in Sofia on 27 February 2001 (Espoo Treaty Act,- Agreement between Germany and Poland on Environmental Impact Assessment and Strategic Environmental Assessment in a Transboundary Context, 10.10.2018 to be found at: https://www.bmu.en/gesetz/proposal for an agreement of 10 October 2018-between Germany and Poland on environmental issues/- "Joint Declaration on Cooperation in the Conducting of Transboundary Environmental Impact Assessments and Transboundary Strategic Environmental Assessments in the German-Dutch Border Region between the Ministry of Infrastructure and the Environment of the Netherlands and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety of the Federal Republic of Germany" (Ministerialblatt für das Land Nordrhein-Westfalen - Nr. 12 of 30 April 2014)Main applications for the framework contract are services for units O1 and O2 for the following topics:- amendments and updates of the area development plan,- regional planning,- preliminary investigation,- determination of suitability of areas,- texts for awards of contracts, in particular service descriptions.Main translation languages are:- English,- Dutch,- Danish,- Polish,- French,- Spanish.Rare translation languages are:- Norwegian,- Swedish,- Lithuanian,- Estonian,- Latvian,- Italian,- Russian.
