Trade contract prequalification packages, as detailed below, are requested regarding Edmonds School Upgrades located at 7651 18th Ave, Burnaby, BC V3N 1J1. The following prequalification submissions will be accepted for the following trades at the offices of the Construction Manager not later than 2:00 PM local time, Thursday, June 22, 2023: C-005 Mechanical HVAC The Edmonds Community School located at 7651 18th Ave, Burnaby, BC V3N 1J1 is seeking Mechanical and HVAC trades to provide a new mechanical ventilation system in the existing school utilizing a CCDC 17 – 2010 Stipulated Price Contract for Trade Contractors on Construction Management Projects. The school is utilized year-round by the community and the project will occur in a coordinated operational environment tentatively scheduled to start in July 2023. The Community School was built in 1949 with many additions up to 1974 and has no existing mechanical ventilation. The new HVAC system consists of two roof-top gas-fired HRVs with heating and cooling, and four horizontal Unit Ventilators, control system and all associated ductworks. The ductwork will be installed down the main corridors of the school with branches into the adjacent rooms. The existing DDC panels will be upgraded by ESC Automation to suit the new ventilation upgrade. The DDC controls will be a contract carried by the C-005 Mechanical contract.
