Canada - Town of Slave Lake - Advanced Contract Award Notice / Notice of Proposed Procurement - Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract

The Town of Slave Lake, on behalf of Lesser Slave Regional Fire Services, is issuing this notice of intent to purchase a new ladder truck for the Fire Department. While the typical lead time for delivery of such units is two to three years, Fort Garry Firetrucks, a supplier, has confirmed they can deliver a unit that meets our specifications by August 1, 2025. However, to secure this delivery, we must confirm the order within 15 days. Given this time constraint, we are moving forward with a sole-source procurement process to secure the Fire Ladder Truck.

• Delivery on or before August 01, 2025
• 100' Midmount Platform
• Meet or Exceed NFPA 1901
• Tandem Drive Axels
• Dual Master Streams
• Rated 2000 USGPM Pump
• 400 USG Water Tank
• 1000lbs tip load when dry/500lbs tip load when wet
• LED Warning Lights
• Body Colour: Red
