The town of Ibbenbüren is planning to extend the Johannes Bosco School. The extension building will replace an annex that no longer meets today's requirements and has limited space. The open all-day school, self-learning center, cafeteria, school administration and student restrooms will be redesigned and adapted to the growing needs of joint and individual learning. The extension is located between the existing school and gymnasium buildings and is in keeping with their scale, with a common room for all-day supervision located on the second floor above the canteen. An external staircase provides direct access for the children from the schoolyard.
