The Tourism Day is organized by Tourismus NRW e.V. and sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and is scheduled to take place on 20 November 2024 as a one-day face-to-face event for 250 people. 2024 Tourism Day NRW aims to shed light on the two central transformation topics of AI and sustainability and use best practices to show how these major tasks and challenges can be made operational and actively shaped. Keynote speeches and panels will be held in the morning and afternoon to shed light on the major transformation processes and the resulting opportunities for the tourism industry. There will also be the opportunity to actively involve the participants. A room design that invites discussion should contribute to this, as should working in workshops and dividing the plenary into smaller groups. The latter is dependent on the content concept, which is still being developed but will be agreed with the client in good time. In addition to the Tourism Day, the general meeting of Tourismus NRW e.V. will also take place on the same day. An additional room for a minimum of 60 and a maximum of 70 people must be made available for this purpose. The general meeting is expected to last 1.5 hours and is planned for 9.00-10.30 am. The room in which the general meeting takes place will also be available as a workshop room for the whole day of the Tourism Day (with different seating if necessary). If the same room is not available, another room of equal value can be scheduled.
