The object of the service concession is to ensure the provision of school meals for the two lower and upper secondary comprehensive schools specified below as well as the management of the kiosk at the Horst comprehensive school. For this purpose, the concessionaire is granted the right to manage the school kitchens/school canteensThe concession is valid for the period from 01.08.2024 to 31.07.2028 (end of school year).The two comprehensive schools offer lunch on four catering days per week. If necessary, the meal days can be adjusted. No meals are provided during vacations/holidays. If the number of catering days is reduced, claims by the concessionaire against the city are excluded. The number of participants (meals per day) may vary by up to +/- 15 percent. The concessionaire is responsible for purchasing, preparing and serving hygienically flawless goods. The concessionaire shall ensure that the school canteens are operated by its own staff in compliance with legal requirements. The following schools are to be provided with lunch: Gesamtschule Buer-MitteGesamtschule HorstThe economic risk is borne by the concessionaireFurther information on the schools, the number of pupils, the number of teachers, the number of meal days, the times when meals are served and the opening hours of the kiosk can be found in the following descriptions. The concessionaire guarantees the punctual serving of lunch and the opening hours of the kiosk. Changes to the opening hours and the times at which meals are served are possible by mutual agreement with the school management and must be made in writing.
