The following criteria apply:
- Unlimited use of Toad,
- Toad for Oracle Professional
- Toad for Oracle Prof\/DBA
- Toad for Oracle Developer
- Toad for SQL Server
- Toad for MySQL
- Toad Edge

- Software maintenance (updates, upgrades, patches) for all editions used
- Compliance security, so that sublicensing or incorrect use of a key is not possible.
- The ability to use the latest Toad versions so that you can work with the latest database and operating system versions, e.g. Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Windows 11, Oracle, etc.
- Standardized keys for the corresponding editions.
- Use on all Oracle databases (Enterprise, Standard, Standard One, Standard 2) must be possible.
- No Oracle Packs are required.
- Capping of licenses at the end of the term of the agreement:
o Toad for Oracle Professional Edition 199 Seat
o Toad for Oracle Professional with DBAdmin 10 Seat
o Toad for Oracle Developer 2 Seat
o Toad for SQL Server 10 Seat
o Toad for MySQL 10 Seat

The agreement is to cover a period of three years.

Specifications for the software upgrade or maintenance of the licenses
The software upgrade of the existing licenses must provide the current version of the ToadTM software that runs under Windows. The products to be delivered immediately after the award of the contract must correspond to the current edition executable under the Windows operating system.
The license keys must be transmitted in electronic form. The documentation associated with the software and the software itself must be available in German.
The documentation must be provided in electronic form.
The service times during which software maintenance services are to be provided to IT.NRW and for a hotline extend from Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Public holidays in the Federal Republic of Germany are excluded.
The care services include in particular
- Provision of available workarounds, patches and updates
- Provision of upgrades
- Provision of available releases \/ versions
Further requirements result from the EVB-IT maintenance contract S.

Specifications for the provision of software licenses
A maximum of six license keys are to be supplied for the two editions to be used in the future. The keys are to be transmitted electronically.
