Description
The city of Stolberg intends to realize the construction of a new city hall on the site of the still existing city hall. Due to the 2021 flood, the existing building is currently no longer usable, as the basement and parts of the first floor were flooded.For the new construction of the town hall in sustainable, circular construction, a competition process will be launched in 2023. The building will be planned in a Cradle to Cradle inspired way and should meet the requirements according to the DGNB certificate.For this reason, a certification by the DGNB (German Sustainable Building Council) will be aimed for already during the deconstruction of the building.The city of Stolberg aims to recycle materials from the deconstruction of the building within the scope of a sustainable cycle-compatible realization of the new building. The planning and supervision will be part of the commissioning of the planner(s).The planning services for the pollutant remediation of parts of the Historic Town Hall is another part of the commissioning.Within the demolition planning, alternative concepts (several variants as a decision template for the AG) must be developed safeguarding until the later new development, costs and the possibilities of the foundation of a later new development and the lowest possible burden on the surrounding area, residents and residents (business) bring into harmony. The examination of the building for harmful substances showed that it was contaminated due to its age, and the specifications of the examination and the corresponding regulations for demolition and disposal must be taken into account. The client will also commission a specialist engineer for structural planning and provide him with assistance to the demolition planner in order to prepare the necessary structural calculations and verifications for the demolition and, if necessary, for the securing of adjacent existing buildings. The bill of quantities for the demolition must be available no later than three months after the commissioning of the work described in this invitation to tender.
