Description

The municipality of Kusel-Altenglan would like to carry out a fire protection refurbishment of the Realschule Plus in Altenglan on the basis of a risk prevention inspection. The refurbishment covers two parts of the building: Building 1 at Schulstraße 14 (new building) and Building 2 at Schulstraße 11 (old building and pavilion) in 66885 Altenglan. The gymnasiums and gymnastics halls, which are currently being built or planned as replacement buildings, are not part of the fire protection refurbishment. The client has had a fire protection concept drawn up for building 1 (plot 862/3) in 2020 and for building 2 (partly plot 880) in 2021. The fire protection concepts are included in the tender documents. Based on the fire protection concepts, the client has already commissioned and carried out the fire protection refurbishment up to service phase 4. The catalog of measures is coordinated with the building permit and is considered comprehensive. The results of the planning services in the respective work phases will be made known to the bidders in the bidding phase. The aim of the tender is to implement the developed fire protection concept on the basis of the approved documents and thus to continue the planning for the fire protection refurbishment in work phases 5-9. If possible, the work should be carried out during the vacations. Execution is not limited to the school vacation period. The object planning should advise the client with regard to the economic implementation of the project. If necessary, the measures should be carried out in stages in a sensible manner. The client will provide the number of containers required for the temporary relocation of 4 school classes. The anticipated costs of the technical equipment are expected to be as follows:KG 410 Waste water, water, gas systems EUR 131,600.00KG 440 Electrical systems EUR 543,600.00KG 450 Communication systems EUR 11,000.00The cost calculation is included in the tender documents. In Building 1, the contractor is to bring forward the refurbishment of the low-voltage switchgear (KG 443) and low-voltage installation systems (KG 444) due to imminent danger and begin with the execution of the planning and construction supervision services immediately after the award of the contract. The client itself will carry out the planning and execution of the barrier-free WC in the area of the toilet facilities in Building 1. This measure is not part of the service to be awarded. The services are being tendered in:- Lot 1: Building planning in work phases 5-9 according to § 34 HOAI,- Lot 2: Technical equipment HLS/electrical in work phases 5-9 according to § 55 HOAI As this is a safety-relevant construction project, there is a high degree of urgency to implement the measures quickly. Work on the refurbishment (work phase 8) is to begin in spring 2026 at the latest. If possible, the measure should be completed during the 2026 summer vacations, but by the end of 2026 at the latest. The execution of the low-voltage switchgear and low-voltage installations in Building 1 should, if possible, begin in 2024 and be carried out quickly. With regard to the service description, the client is guided by the HOAI 2021. The contract regulates further details.
