The procurement concerns the purchase of patient journeys by road. Patient transport by road is a facilitated transport where the patient, according to applicable legislation, has the right to have their expenses covered for transport by to and from treatment.The contracting authority is free to use the vehicle on routes where there is a need to do so within the time frame 06:00-17:00 on weekdays. The vehicle must not have a limit on the number of kilometres driven per day. On some days, the vehicle will need to be used +/- 1 hour beyond 06:00-17:00. In any case, the vehicle will not be used more than 11 hours in one day.The estimated annual value is NOK 1,300,000 excluding VAT.The maximum contract value is NOK 6,000,000 excluding VAT.

The contract also covers emergency help trips and emergency requisition trips, as well as the transport of luggage (including wheelchairs and other mobility aids) that belong to patients.For a further description, refer to Annex 1 (Price Form) and Annex 2 (Requirement Specifications).The agreement does not prevent the Contracting Authority from entering into other agreements during the contract period for the purchase of transport services for the patient use in the same area as that covered by this agreement, including carrying out transport services on a separate account.The estimated annual value is NOK 1,300,000 excluding VAT.The maximum contract value is NOK 6,000,000 excluding VAT.
