Description
To formulate an international standard tariff schedule for a deep-sea terminal consulting with all concerned department of a port and to prepare a tariff structure appropriate to the cost of providing the related services and utilities.
To enable deep sea terminal to maintain tariffs at a level that aims to generate revenue to cover its investment and future operating costs.
To generate sufficient funds to finance the normal programme of replacement of capital assets of deep-sea terminal.
To ensure tariff framework that promotes the deep-sea terminal efficiency, investment attractiveness and financial stability.
To submit reports containing tariff as stated above supported by complete process of computation & rational behind the revision.
The mentioned assignments for the deep-sea terminal will also be applicable for the bay terminal.
Individual applicant or lead partner of Joint Venture, consortium, association (JVCA) must be an international consultancy firm having 5 years of overall experience on preparation and assessment of seaport tariff.
The eligible applicant under serial no. 1 above must have minimum 3 years of specific experience of conducting consultancy services relating to fixation of tariff structure or tariff analysis or tariff study or pricing of services in any seaport facilitated with container, containerised cargo, general/bulk cargo etc. and related shipping services.
The eligible applicant under serial no. i & ii above must have experience of at least 2 works on seaport tariff having handling capacity of minimum 1.00 (one) million TEUs containers and 5 million tons cargo per annum. Regarding the said experience documentary evidence must have to be submitted with the EOI application.
