Description

The Centre de services scolaire des Navigateurs is seeking sealed bids from a contractor for landscaping work at the Taniata School.
The work will be carried out at the following address: 1002 Rue des Écoliers, Saint-Jean-Chrysostome, QC G6Z 3H5.
Here are the key project dates:
Authorized start date: Spring 2024; or by agreement with the school principal
Provisional acceptance: Friday, August 16, 2024
Final acceptance: Friday, August 23, 2024

No site visits are planned for this project.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security, either in the form of a certified cheque for an amount equal to 10% of the total bid amount, including all applicable taxes, payable to Centre de services scolaires des Navigateurs, or an irrevocable letter of guarantee or bid bond in the same amount, valid for a period of 45 days from the bid opening date. Please note that the letter of guarantee or bid bond must be issued by a financial institution that is an insurer licensed under the Act respecting insurance (R.S.Q., c. A-32) to transact surety insurance, a trust company licensed under the Act respecting trust companies and savings companies (R.S.Q., c. S-29.01), a financial services cooperative governed by the Act respecting financial services cooperatives (R.S.Q., c. C-67.3) or a bank within the meaning of the Bank Act (S.C., 1991, c. 46), failing which the bid will be automatically rejected.
All tenders must be received in a sealed envelope, bearing the address label provided for this purpose, at the Centre de services scolaire des Navigateurs place of business located at 1860, 1 re Rue, Lévis (Québec), G6W 5M6 , before Tuesday, October 30, 2023 before 3:00 p.m., to be publicly opened at the same place on the same day and at the same time. Any bid received after this time will be automatically rejected.
Tenders may also be submitted electronically via the SEAO website.
All public calls for tenders, specifications and bids are governed by the Act respecting contracting by public bodies and its regulations, and by the policies, regulations or directives of the Centre de services scolaires des Navigateurs.
This call for public tenders is not subject to any agreements.
For the purposes of awarding the contract, only bids from contractors having an establishment in Quebec or, where an intergovernmental agreement covered by the law is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by such agreement, and holding, where applicable, the license required under the Building Act (R.S.Q., c. B.-1.1), will be considered.
Tenderers are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender.
Please note that any offer, gift or payment, remuneration or advantage with a view to being awarded the contract resulting from this call for tenders may result in the rejection of the tender or, as the case may be, the termination of the contract.
The School Service Centre does not undertake to accept any of the tenders received.
