Chile - Talca municipal swimming pool in the las americas sector

Description

The present project contemplates the construction of a recreational swimming pool for public neighborhood use located in a land destined for equipment, specifically in 18 Norte Street, between Canal de la Luz Avenue and 6 Oriente Street, in the northern sector of the Talca Commune. The land has an existing building destined to sports equipment in which basketball and futsal disciplines are mainly developed, and it is on the north-west side of this building where the new work will be located.
The works include the construction of 2 swimming pools, a pump room, and a building consisting of toilets, storage, cloakroom, first aid room, all according to the attached project. The main pool will be the largest and will be intended for the general public, including young people and adults; the other pool will be located next to the main pool, will be heated, will be shallower, and will be for the exclusive use of senior citizens.
The pools will have to meet all the requirements established by current regulations regarding accessibility, safety, and the Chilean Ministry of Health's regulations for swimming pools for public use.
In general, the project complies with current regulations and decree Nº50 on universal accessibility, the latter through pedestrian circulation with a continuous width of 1.50 m, pedestrian access ramp, parking lots, dressing room, restrooms, and pool entrance elevator that allow accessibility for the disabled.
The building to be executed will be built mainly in Volcometal type construction system, with metal doors, aluminum windows, ceramic floors and standard line appliances.
As complementary works, the south-eastern enclosure of the swimming pool area will be contemplated, with Acmafor type mesh or equivalent. An accessible parking area, bicycle racks, and works related to the environment and recreation area for bathers will be provided.
