Switzerland - Switzerland - Diesel generators

Description

An international organisation headquartered in Geneva has issued a request for proposal for the supply of diesel generator sets of various powers between 5k-vA and 200kVA. The requirement includes:

- tools and spare parts
- technical advice, assistance and maintenance
- training

The generators are for use worldwide, but predominantly in Iraq, Syria and various African countries. They need to operate under extremes of temperature, humidity and dry, arid conditions. Depending on local requirements they may operate in:

- mini-grids alone
- mini-grids in modular combination with other diesel gensets
- hybrid set-up

This opportunity is suitable for companies who can guarantee reliability and financial and managerial capacity. Companies must:

- have at least 3 years experience
- have 3 years of audited accounts
- be able to demonstrate international experience

The contract is for an initial period of 3 years with 2 possible extensions of 1 year each.
