Germany - Summer School _Workshop on "Introduction to Statistics"

Description

Between 12.08. - 23.08.2024, the DeZIM offers inquisitive participants various courses in a summer school on the premises of the DeZIM. Among other things, a 1-day course on "Introduction to Statistics" will be offered in presence. The workshop is primarily aimed at civil society and political organizations as well as scientists who would like to gain an insight into statistics. The number of participants in this course is limited to 20 people.
We are looking for a speaker to conduct the workshop, which includes an introduction to both descriptive and inferential statistics.
The lecturer is responsible for the preparation of the content, the complete implementation, moderation and follow-up of the workshop.
For this activity, DeZIM provides a remuneration (fee contract) in the amount of 1,500.00 euros gross. Any costs incurred (e.g. travel, accommodation) for conducting the workshop are not included in this amount and can be invoiced separately.
