Description

The refurbishment works must be carried out in three phases, divided into different subphases, maintaining at all times the service in the 132.30 and 12 kV parks.
Viesgo will supply the high voltage GIS equipment, the 70 MVA 132/30 kV power transformers, the 30 and 12 kV power cubicles and the 30/12 kV power transformers. The rest of the supplies and equipment necessary to carry out the substation refurbishment will be within the scope of the contractor awarded the tender. In addition, this reform will include the demolition of the old Santa Cruz thermal power plant building and the rehabilitation of the machinery house.
In general, the works/supplies to be carried out in the different phases of the project are indicated:
Phase 1. Reform of the 132 kV park and 132/30 kV transformers

- power, force and control cables,
- electromechanical assembly,
- testing and commissioning,
- security,
- dismantling of existing installations.
Phase 2. Reform of the 30 and 12 kV parks and 30/12 kV transformers

Phase 3. Rehabilitation of the machinery house and demolition of the rest of the buildings.
