Brief description of the measure:
The property Marineoperationsschule (MOS) Bremerhaven is located at Elbestr. 101 in 27570 Bremerhaven.
The Naval Operations School (MOS) in Bremerhaven conducts technical and operational training for non-commissioned officers, petty officers and officers.
Furthermore, the MOS is responsible for the tactical training of officers, type-specific system training as well as for training components for the flying crew.
Planning, preparing, controlling and conducting basic training for tactical and operational missions complete the mission of the MOS.
In addition to the Werftlieger-Unterstützungszug (WLUstgZ), other personnel are stationed at the Naval School Bremerhaven.
Within the scope of a property comparison for accommodation, a requirement of 150 accommodation rooms was determined for the area of the shipyard pilots. With the construction of the new accommodation building 29, only a part of the requirements of the shipyard pilots was realized. With the new construction of the shipyard berth building 2 for the accommodation of personnel of the navy during maintenance projects the need is finally met.
Selected location: Outside area Geestheller Damm, parcel 41, parcel 3/6.
In the rear area of the site, the new shipyard building (accommodation building) with 150 residential units (WE) is to be erected. It is planned to build a straight, clear structure in a four-story massive construction with a hipped roof according to the existing development of the MOS property.
There is no development plan for the property. Behind the new building there is the possibility of a parking lot with 90 parking spaces. The front area of the property offers a reserve area for another accommodation building.
