Germany - Special passenger transport (road)

Description

The contract covers the transportation of a total of approx. 754 workshop employees (i.e., based on all lots (currently 213) workshop lines incl. special trips) on workdays (Mon.-Fri.) to currently 10 workshops for people with disabilities. Details on the places of residence, the locations of the workshops or external workplaces as well as the exact transport times can be found in the respective transport plans for each lot. In addition to the classic regular routes, there may be other variants, i.e. deviating outward and return journeys (additional routes) at off-peak times. The workshop employees to be transported are persons with physical, mental, emotional, mobility-impaired and severe multiple disabilities. Therefore, trained drivers with experience in transporting people with disabilities should be used. During weekday transportation, the company must sometimes provide escorts to help people with disabilities get on and off the bus and to put on and take off the restraint belts, among other things. The driving personnel should also be very familiar with safe and proper wheelchair transportation/securing. Further details as per the terms and conditions of the contract documents.
