This is not a solicitation annoucment. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to gain knowledge of the potential qualified sources that are capable of providing Advanced Microcircuit Emulation (AME) research and development (R&D) services meeting DoD and DoD contractors' needs for readiness and logistical support.Â
The intent is for the Government to enter into a contract to continue on the AME Program. The AME Program was developed to econommically support DoD requirements for support and emulation of smaller, faster and more complicated microcircuits that are no longer available from industry. The AME Program develops and demonstrates next generation technology/processes for devices and assemblies beyond the scope or incompatible with direct extensions of the Generalized Emulation of Microcircuit (GEM) Program's current technology.Â
An initial draft of the AME Program Statement of Work is incorporated into this posting.
