Description

As co-investor of KS-AWP, the KOP is responsible for the technical and commercial management of KWW, in particular the planning, construction and operation of the sewage sludge utilisation plant and the subsequent phosphorus treatment of the ashes. Together with KS-AWP, KOP equips KWW on the capital side in such a way that KWW can finance, build and operate a sewage sludge utilisation plant. KS-AWP therefore invites tenders for a 50 to 70 % stake in KWW, which is still to be founded by KS-AWP. The partner sought must ensure the location as well as the planning, construction and operation (commercial and technical management) of the recycling plant and, outside KWW, independently the phosphorus recycling from the commissioning of the plant. The capacity of the recovery plant and for phosphorus recycling should in principle be up to 120 000 tonnes of original substance (21-30 % dry matter (DM), diam. 25 % DM per year). In addition, the Customer reserves the right to increase the recycling capacity of the sewage sludge treatment plant in accordance with Section II.2.11). The recycling of the sewage sludge is to be ensured from 1.1.2022, the phosphorus recycling from commissioning of the sewage sludge treatment plant. The partner will participate in KWW as a shareholder. KWW will purchase sewage sludge quantities of KS-AWP of at least 80 000 tos/ p.a. from 1.1.2022. The partner ensures the utilisation of the plant by delivering sewage sludge (of up to approx. 40,000 tos / p. a.) and also: - the temporary storage/depositing of the ashes, if necessary, as well as ensuring phosphorus recovery from 2022 for the total amount of ashes produced. The partner receives no remuneration for this. Independent, economically viable recycling outside KWW is assumed - the transport of the sewage sludge quantities provided by KS-AWP from the respective waste water treatment plant to the recovery plant. The loading at the respective wastewater treatment plants can be carried out by the KS-AWP. From 1.1.2020, the cooperation partner is to take over approx. 55,000 tos of sewage sludge from the KS-AWP in the calendar year 2020 and use it using its own recycling possibilities as well as take over the corresponding logistics for the sewage sludge transport from the respective wastewater treatment plant to the recycling plants available to the KOP. In the calendar year 2021 the KOP is to take over approx. 65,000 tos of sewage sludge from KS-AWP and dispose of it accordingly as well as take over the necessary logistics.
