Description

To design, supply, deliver, install, test and commission an ECS for a rail and bus depot.

The Rail Depot will serve the Thomson-East Coast (TEL), Downtown (DTL), and East-West (EWL) Lines. A six storey structure with 2 basements, it will house stabling, storage yards, workshops and offices, plus ventilation shafts and road connections.

The TEL depot will be at-grade, the DTL depot 14m underground, and the EWL depot 14m above ground. It will be located at the Eastern end of the East Coast stretch of the TEL, , and will be classified as part of Singapore’s National Critical Infrastructure (NCI).

Cut and cover tunnels for reception tracks will connect the DTL and TEL main lines to the underground DTL depot and at grade TEL depot respectively, while the reception tracks for the above ground EWL main line will run on viaducts to their the EWL above ground depot.

The Bus depot will be located on land adjacent to the future Rail depot. The Bus depot will be a five (5) storey structure housing a workshop, office, car-park, canteen, bus parking areas and ancillary facilities.
