Description
The Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Accelerating and Strengthening Skills for Economic Transformation (ASSET) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for supply, installation and commissioning of a full mission engine room simulator, liquid cargo handling simulator and high voltage simulator for ship building and marine technology.
The authority now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for supply, installation and commissioning of a full mission engine room simulator, liquid cargo handling simulator and high voltage simulator. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a request for bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” July 2016, revised February 2025 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the procurement regulations.
Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation process set out in the bidding documents.
